Everyone knows of the Easter Bunny, right? You know, the story of how he lays eggs and hides them for the children to find on Easter Sunday? Well, perhaps you don’t know this… those eggs are containing his children.
Yes, those colorful eggs aren’t just decorative set pieces. You see, one cannot just lay eggs without the purpose of procreation. As a result, these special eggs contain his children, but they are purposefully killed as soon as he lays them. Every night before the festivities, he lies in his burrows giving birth to his soon to be killed children. Then, as soon as he’s finished, he performs a special incantation that turns his live children into solid chocolate.
Yes, the Easter Bunny happens to have knowledge in magecraft. However, he does not enjoy this process. In fact, if you can listen closely the night before Easter, you can hear the sorrowful cries of a father who has to kill his children to perform his role in society. He hates this holiday. He curses this holiday and the humans who have forced him into this role. And most of all, he curses himself for not having the courage to stop this festival himself and save his children and future children.
And so, he cradles his chocolate-petrified children with tears in his eyes, knowing full well that as soon as the festivities are over, he will start incubating eggs in his round belly once again and the cycle will begin again. A cycle that will haunt him for the rest of the year and one that he cannot escape. Indeed, this is the tragic fate of the Easter Bunny…
Happy Easter Everybody!!!

Aww, poor bunny. The little story, along with the pic, makes me wonder how truly happy and relieved this bunny will be if he ever had the courage to just stop and finally take care of his eggs without having to turn them into chocolate.
Besides that, I really admire and adore your pencil art. :)
