This sketch came about after my mother came to my house, and intruded into my hobby room while visiting. She apparently seen a doodle I drew last night, and started crying. After asking why she was crying, she pointed to a head sketch of a random doodle i drew. She pointed out it looked like, Jessi, which was my mother's pitbull, whom of which passed away last year of old age.
I honestly didn't think much of it at first... but after looking at it more and more, i seen it. She begged me to draw more, so i sat down, made a few alterations, and after thirty minutes, I've come to this. Which i admit... looks a lot like her, if she was a cartoon character. My mother of course loves it.
The original head sketch can be found here- http://www.furaffinity.net/view/19482205/

That's awesome, I'd personally love to see it! Pit colors are usually almost one-off colors, so you'll probably going to be mixing quite a bit o.o
I have 110% faith in ya though! You haven't disappointed any other time, and I know you won't this time either (or ever lol)!

Nahhhh - I don't give too much praise - just an adequate amount for the quality of work you do ^.^
You being a novice outshines my painting skills by lightyears (I've said that before, and I'm not kidding at all lol) - I need Kushi here to help me kick you in the butt and make you give yourself due-credit ;P

Haha, fair enough. As for my painting skills, or rather my coloring skills... nawww, it just looks like it. You use a computer, and I use my hands to push a paintbrush. Which are two different mediums, and require different methods of application, thus have far different outcomes. Honestly, if given practice and time... your methods of coloring will outshine my own in no time at all. Hell, it's already started showing, due to the amount of people you have viewing your profile and artwork.
Haha, my artwork hardly gets noticed compared to yours, which says a lot. In fact, you receive more likes, and comments compared to my own artwork, which again, says a lot. I'm lucky if I receive a comment or two, which often comes from you, and Rivalo... and maybe from a complete stranger from time to time. Overall, you yourself have a lot to be proud of, you've honestly come a long way... and have also improved quite a lot in your artistic abilities since the first day you added your first submission. Personally, I'm proud of yeah, I honestly am. ^ ^
As for giving myself more credit... well... let's just say, I'm aware that I can draw better than some, and color better than some. I'm even aware that I should be proud of myself for being able to do such thing's. However, a part of me likes to stay humble. By this I mean, I don't want to be viewed by other's as a egotistical asshat... simply because I know there's artist all around me who are FAR, better than myself, and there's also artist out there who struggle to draw anything. Overall, I'd liked to be viewed by artist better than myself, as someone who is humble, and viewed by those of whom who struggle, as someone who they could reach out to, if help or advice is needed.
Haha, speaking of, iKushi... I'm getting worried about her. : (

I can't really argue any of those points - BUT I can tell you why for the # of comments / watchers - The # of submissions I throw out vs you (not meant to be confrontational lol) - just statistically it'd be silly if it wasn't that way :P I'm sure if you'd throw more of a stream of stuff out there you'd wrap watchers around your fingers in no time ^.^
I do believe Kushi is out for another 3-5 weeks, helping her dad on their farm. He's having some sort of surgery, and she needed to be there to help around for 8 weeks starting March - at least that's the last I heard from her. I'm sure she's alright ^.^ She seems to have her head on her shoulders correctly ^.^

Haha, I'm fully aware of why I don't have the figures you do, which I'm alright with, as it's my own fault. I was simply trying to point out how far you've come, and how well your doing, as well as pointing out that quantity and ambition, beats out quality... which your improving on with each art piece you submit. Anyways, you are right though, I do need to put more in my gallery, which I'm doing my best to do since my absence.
Unfortunately, I'm not having the best of luck... due to a lack of subjects and ambition. >< As for, iKushi... I'm happy to hear she's doing well. I was afraid something bad happened... but, since nothing has, i can't wait for her to return.

Haha, hell... if you know someone who could use a pick me up, or possibly someone lacking artwork of there fursona, but doesn't have the ability to draw, or fund's to purchase artwork of said fursona, point them my way. I draw everything for free after all. Overall, that's the inspiration I need to spur me into action... I honestly work better when it's an act of kindness.
Be that as it may be... I'll try anything, so as long as said individual or individuals honestly and truly appreciate what will be drawn.
