How's Easter coming along for you guys? I took a little holiday break and got around to make more personal art. Here's Delta, Light's daughter in-lore. Some of you probably have heard about her at least once, before accepting her into my world she was one of the main characters in :devlancetheb1:'s stories, however her design wasn't developed just as much as it is now. Currently this character is under shared ownership and belongs to me and Lance.
Before revealing the more biologically accurate design, as an outcome of her parents actually creating her (you what I mean!), the coloration used to be out of context, made on request and totally spontaneously. I'm also to blame for this.

Another important update is that Light now has a secondary last name as a result of marriage*. I'm quite satisfied with the somewhat regal drift in it for some reason.
Pretty sure I might now get a wave of questions, "Will you use my character in your world?", but the answer will be most probably a refusal. I have very strict rules when it comes to my world's construction. I've already accepted two characters who were never mine and at this time being I rather don't have any plans to continue doing so.
This is a -sketch- reference, which means it might get revamped and expanded in the future. For now, have this fluffball.
*In Poland, a woman can choose to keep or omit her maiden's name after marriage. Usually it's the latter, however I'm keeping it.

Question: It's really essential for anything in the air to comply with air traffic control laws. How do Aviamorphs handle this? I'm guessing that, as living organisms, they do not have a natural ability to converse by radio. The switching of forms is going to rule out implanted technology too. Some sort of clip-on accessory? A transponder at the very least is going to be required.
Good question. I can't imagine it to be anything other as a radio accessory installed (and removable anytime the wearer wants) somewhere in the maw, most likely on a tooth of the lower jaw so it won't fall off. The sticking technology would be similar to those fancy tooth charms, the item just being more useful and discreet than a bling. Certainly it would need to exist in various sizes to suit every species.
It would depend heavily upon internal anatomy. The engines are the most 'mechanical' organs, it may be possible to interface electronics to them just like any other aircraft.
Those who remain always in ascended form would certainly see the benefits of semi-permanent or cybernetic enhancements. Improved radio, radar and other senses, navigational aids.

While not an impossible option, enhancements, as for the time period the lore is set in, would be either too "advanced" or too expensive to be used globally. Simple, cheap and convenient solutions like the one I have described would be the most commonly chosen option; at least I would go for it than a rather complicated surgery based on tinkering with my nervous system.
Still, I can see how the first tests of such improvement would be. Like the Skype calls... "CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?!"...

Someone brought up an interesting point about radio communication. What about issues with Aviation administrations. Since she appears to be "Registered" too Aéropostiale, does this designation transfer to call signs? What about federal aviation administration sanctions? Does she have too designate herself as a passenger airliner, private or military?
What about the fact that the Concorde, as beautiful as they are, Haven't been in production since the late 90's? She is cute though.
