Commission for
Bladewing
Most of the foaming work is done, just have to hack at it a bit more to define the cheeks and get some more symmetry going on. The eyes, nostrils and ears are temporary and just put in for the sake of pictures... he'll be getting resin eyes once I get the right sized mold for it. I just though he looked funny without them :P
I'm going to try something new for the mouth. The top of palate is done with some sort of black buckram-like material so poor Bladewing won't die of suffocation, but I'm also going to rig the mouth so it'll stay closed on its own or can be propped open with a wire insert with teeth on. I did something very similar with my first dragon head (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1675187/) but ended up making hers a permanently open mouth. We'll see how that all pans out :P Currently, the bottom jaw is just pinned on, and can easily be slid around if needed.
A little FYI, I am still open to the idea of taking on commissions for suit heads right now. Currently, you're looking at an agreement of a base cost for labor (US$200, broken up into multiple payments if you desire) plus the buyer either send me their materials (fur, etc) or lets me buy them at their cost (this may change in the future, so be advised). Additional fees for complicated designs, not because I'm a dick but because it's time-consuming to say, sew on individual scales or fins.
