Ub Iwerks is one of my animation heroes! It was a shame that he is more known for his technical achievements (multi-plane camera) than for his animated creations, like Oswald the Rabbit, Mickey Mouse and Flip the Frog. But in the past few years it seems like he's been getting more recognition for everything he did.
