Falmorn featuring Falmorn, the phoenix!

I just gotta say that this guy's design is /gorgeous!/ His colours and markings are so rad, and the physiology reminds me of herons, which are one of my favourite types of birds! I went crazy on the line-art for this one, and also had a lot of fun with the volcanic background! I'm really happy with how that turned out. :D

Holy Smokes! That's amazing TwilightSaint. I never seen you do a bird species like that before and that's really incredible. Even the volcanic background is amazing.

Thank you! Yah, I think the most common birds I get to work on are usually corvids, raptors, and owls, so a more heron-like critter was a treat to work on! <3

Oh my, he looks drop dead amazing in this picture! To be honest, you made me squee a bit when a first saw it. He looks so realistic, it feels like I can reach out and brush his feathers. I love all the tiny details on his wings and feathers and LOVE the background. His expression is perfect as well.
