Slitzerikai bounded himself away gleefully from the forested cavern, the sound of vials at his hip
clinking along beside him, as well as the excited jingling of coins and treasures in an all too
classic brown satchel, bulging to the brim with loot of the finest color, gold.
You might find yourself wondering what such use could a tribal fox such as Slitzerikai have for the
material gifts of the world, but through the exploration of alchemy, such components could never be
greater! And besides, who's to say that a fox wouldn't like to explore some nearby villages more in-
depth and close up? Always being left out of the 'fun' is never very exciting... Plus... who could
resist something such as gold?!
As Slitzerikai made his way back through the forest paths, deftly hopping from footpaw to footpaw,
every so often wobbling to regain his balance as the weight of the heavy sack shifts from one
direction to another, he travels himself a good distance from the cave he had just looted through, to
finally let himself flop down with a heavily panting sigh against a downed pair of trees.
Leaning over the back of one, he catches his breath while peering up to the small bits of sky that
managed to breach through the canopy above. As he rested, his head drifted off to the side and his
softly glowing green eyes caught sight of the light above glinting merrily across the coins in the
bag, a wide grin slowly pulling at his muzzle as he finally got the encouragement to start sifting
through the haul.
As a general rule, don't go inspecting your newly found loot right where you found it. More often
than not, it's being found in that spot for a reason. Make sure you're safely away and aware of your
surroundings before you start digging in to the part of your brain dedicated to desire!
When he pulled open the top of the bag, it was so full of treasures that they began to pool outward
a bit, making the fox quickly shove his paws up around the top and tug on the string, trying to keep
anything from falling out and littering the forest floor... but as he did so, something among the
top coins caught his eye.

"A golden chain? What's this for..?"

As Slitzerikai gave a gentle tug at it, it started to slip throught he coins, making them shift and
slip from the bag and tumble to the ground. With a tentative pull, he was far more curious of what he
had found among the simple gold, that it drew in his full attention. As the chain slipped free of
the churning coin, a bright blue bauble burst free into the air and immediately the glitter of the
bright sun-shaft hitting against the jewel lightly blinded his eager eyes.
That wide grin turned into a soft gasp as he held it upward into the air above him, his eyes open
with an eager glow shining behind them to match the jewel. As the chain twisted and turned in his
paw, he couldn't help feeling a strange sense of awe to the item. Certainly there was something more
to this jewel than simply being tossed in with the King's bounty! There was a certain sensation of..
...need, for whatever this jewel was. So great was this feeling, that the world around him seemed to
fade out of the mind's eye for a few moments...
This was all the distraction the Russian dragon needed to make a stealthy approach to the awed
little vulpine treasure hunter, though as she drew near, the glint of that wonderful jewel managed
itself to catch her own eyes as well, pulling the purple gaze of her eyes to the same inspiring shine
still twinkling on the jewel and it's slowly twisting chain...
