Just a personal piece I felt like doing because my first day of the exam is on Thursday. It's been awhile since I last drew some non-work/comm related piece so I need to let off some steam if I want to focus on reading.

He's just like "I'm not having it" while you're screaming about the tests.
I wish you well with your upcoming exams; while it is important to study, it's important you remain relaxed too.
Don't study too much, but at the same time, don't study too little.
Find a good environment to read or watch (if you have videos as well).
Be sure to test yourself with practice questions or by filling out study guides if you have them.
Take deep breaths and momentary breaks if you, at any point, become frustrated by studying.
Take your time with the questions you're given, and always do the easier questions first.
If you need to skip a question, make a note of it and go back to it later.
You can insert some other bland tips as you'd like. I'm not sure why I just went lecture-mode, but I'm rooting for you ;3

Hardest part is trying to figure out what the professors will probably put on a test because they all have different tastes.
The worst kind don't even put what they have on the slide in the test and just tell you to reread the whole book.
Hopefully I can deal with that worst kind tomorrow then it's happy happy time for few days.

You have a fairly decent point there; you have to figure out what kind of test and what content is going to be there...
It makes me remember back to when I was taking a Sociology class; the instructors tests were literally just terminology
Most of the time, though, an instructor will use similar questions from their tests so they don't have to rewrite a whole new set.
I hope that's what happens in this case since it'll make it easier for you to pass ;3

Sadly the prof this time is on one of my "most hated" list because you have to write exactly everything he wants or it's a no score even if you do it correctly.
And for some reason, retaking his class this time, he did absolutely no quiz so there's no guideline on what he will use for the test anymore with the slide and everything still the same. If he does a complete 180 then I'm good as screwed because there are too many details for me to cover so I only have about 50-60% chance to get above 40% on the test.
(Average is like, 20% on this subject anyway the last time I W'd)

Doh, that's a really bad situation you have there... And it's rather unfair for the students for him to do that.
I take it that he's been complained about quite a lot to administrative staff? I know I would be all over it...
I do with you well with your exam and make sure to let us know how it goes; I'm rooting for you.
