Hmm, I don't think we want Nighty walking around with cuts all over his snout and tongue. I think it'd be sufficient to populate the aquarium with a couple of archer fish. As soon as the fox goes near 'em -- SPLUT!

My Mom has cats that do that all the time. They refuse to drink out of thier dish. I think its because the water in the disk isn't fish flavored.

Our cats do this all the time. One managed to stick his arm in up to the elbow to bat at them. Didn't catch them, just playing ;)

Both the cats in my house do this all the time.

Remember to use the water from your aquarium (when you do a water change) to water your plants. They LOVE that. And don't forget....if you make hard boiled eggs....there's a lot of calcium in the water. Don't waste it.

I had loads of fish. Used to breed Bettas and Guppies. My BUDGIE of all things was getting in and washing in the tanks, drinking out of the Betta quarantine vases... LOL! Little monster. Had to clingfilm 3/4 of thew tops if they had melafix or almond leaf in em for summat.

All vases in the picture were a smaller size to keep medicating anything easier. They all got designated 15L tanks after quarantine was up.

Never did get a vid of the budgie in the big fishtank, though, damn!

Seeing this really made me smile! I've loved foxes, and have been associated with them by my family, since I was little. And when I was 4 (or some time around then) I used to drink water out of our fish tank xD

You could always put him in there with scuba gear, instead of buying fish then you can both be happy ;D
