I'm *slowly* getting the material together for the Kickstarter of the second part of Griffin Ranger.
Yes, the horrible plucked parrot does play a significant part in the story, but that picture is just too freaking weird to go in the Kickstarter video, so this is the only place it'll be seen. The other two illustrations are scenes from the book. These were colored with markers, but the final version that will end up in the Kickstarter video will have digital elements added.

She encountered monsters, and was forced to live among them as a social scientist for quite some time, to try and learn their ways. Like any proper Eldritch horror, however, being in their presence for a prolonged time drove her insane. The plucking is just what parrots do when their brain melts from that level of trauma, and being a Greenie she's no exception to the rule.
I do have a more complete set of praise/criticisms if you want, but that I want to email. (And no, the criticisms aren't "this sucks" or "I could have done better", but are as genuine as I can make them, and properly mixed with praise - there's good and bad in any work, after all).
