Crazy stuff! I've toyed with the idea of that as it's more concealable than piercings would be. Sadly I work in a fairly conservative field (shaving my hair into a mohawk is a no-no), so god knows how that would go over or how I'd explain it. Looks really nice, though I imagine the healing process sucks.

The first one was pretty much free. I pierced my tongue, let it heal, and then used a fishing line over the course of a few weeks to essentially stop blood flow in the center of my tongue.
The 2nd time, the one in the video, was to clean it up, smooth out the edge and such.
That cost me about 400$ half of that was just the anesthesia.
