Decided to try out a new type of shading. Special thanks to RabbitFox for critiquing my work and giving me tips to get this drawing where it is now. Here's a new character I've been working on. His name is Dell.
Dell has always had a problem. He’s the most accident-prone being ever to exist. Other versions of himself in other universes are constantly dying in the strangest ways, but this version of him got smart. This version of himself got a universe-hopping machine and scientifically separated his head from his body.
Now he goes from universe-to-universe, taking the bodies of other, unsuccessful versions of him, moments before they die. Then he stores them in his lab as backups in case his body dies.
Oh, forgot to mention, he carries around a briefcase with his original junk in it. Because that’s sorta irreplaceable, y’know? He doesn’t seem to have it in this picture… I hope he finds it before someone else does.

He only tries to take the bodies seconds after they have died and preserves them using nanomachines, since it'd be kind of a waste to take someone before their time. However, sometimes the nanomachine injections make it to the head and accidentally revive the head. This has led to him having to go find where the heads went on a few occasions.
He probably treats them well. Either that, or he sends them to some universe where everyone's a head. Probably would be better for them anyways.
