I drew these during a discussion of winged humans and cut-paste mythical humans like mermaids and such. These are neither of those, as I’m not even sure what the flying organisms on the centaurs’ planet look like (prob. mostly invertebrates), but I was wondering which of their many limbs centaurs could hypothetically fly with.

Yeah, despite how cool angels and demons are, I know that the wings on the back are technically not possible. When people draw winged humanoid characters with their wings attached to the torso like a second pair of arms, it seems more plausible. I don't often see them drawn like that though. Here's an example of what I mean., http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9438519/
Yeah, people seem to not consider the fact wings are a complex limb, and not something you can paste onto an existing animal's shoulders and have it still be scientifically feasible. I've done a lot of attempts at shoulderwing humans where I make them into hexapods, but always makes the skeleton a nightmare to figure out. Usually I put the wing limbs over the arms, which means you have to make the arms much shorter and further down... plus the legs and pelvis need to be small too or the center of balance is too far away from the wings and it would drag down the legs in flight... it's a mess. Humans are not proportioned well for flight.
