I think there'll be 12 characters in all I'm making "rainbows" for.
Coonishi's first. I'm not sure why a raccoon ended up being my furry thing. I guess at the time I could connect with the reclusive nature I thought they had.
Lesbuni just appeared in comics because I needed a counterpart. It's good to have silly friends around. :B
Toad is last, he's based off a little dog doll I had when I was younger and still have today.
I want to draw more than hamsters, yoshies, and raccoons. I'm gonna try drawing different things this year. :3

Wow! I actually am actually at the beginning of the river for a change. *Happy Yoshi Dance* Gabby-Gabby-Gaboo!
Kudos on this rainbow. I am curious, though, if a NGG reference is peeping out from the third panel of row 1 with Coonishi? Coincidence perhaps?
I like your concept for New Year's work. I look forward to the many new creations that you manage to bring upon us eager viewers. *Oopa!*

Yup yup yup! Last year my friends pointed out that all I draw is yoshies and hams.. but I draw what I love, so I didn't feel like changing. (:
I still love drawing them, but now I actually feel like changing things up, instead of just changing because I was told to. :3
Hehe, no such coincidences! ;P I even used the background color from the scene involved with their situation in my Circle doodles. :3
Even if I don't draw much of Kamui anymore, I think his whole story with NGG lives on through Coonishi, who'll carry it with him as he moves onto new things. (:
Just yesterday I even came up with a whole new comic-story idea! ...It'd be really short, but I think it was too mushy so I canned that idea to. 8D It'll be nice if I can just get a story idea and go through with it like you've already done multiple times this year! (:

Your ever thirst to improve and evolve at your craft never ceases to impress and inspire me, Oxnard. If this wasn't the only time I had with my wife, I'd start writing just after reading all of that. Yep, yep, yep!
If I do dare add, though, you and I are kind of running parallel goals. "Project Ezil," as I mentioned before, is a different story ENTIRELY from what I have ever written before. It involves no dinosaurs or humans. All characters are foxes, cats, etc. with a splash of gods for good measure. Add to this I am ACTUALLY writing about the "Blind" experience and I am having a quality time in putting this new tale together. The ideas are there, but it feels so, well, foreign. Like a TV with fuzzy reception.
The point of what I said, though, is that I'm certain you and I will both succeed in taking our craft to the next level as the months progress. Being able to watch how you evolve alongside me is actually one of the nice things I have to look forward to so it keeps me inspired and happy. Yep, yep, yep!

Hehe, just like I had to wait for the right moment to get that feeling, it seems your writing does too! ;P I'm sure your wife is glad you're sharing your time with her. :3
Hehe, no scalies or humans! It's hard to break out of it, especially if you're not all pumped about it - but I'm sure when you get more settled in it your story'll have a clearer flow. (: Sometimes writing's at it's most natural when it's something you've really experienced or can relate too... so I think it'll be really cool to see how it turns out for ya! Hopefully you can connect more idea cables to help make the TV reception even clearer! Even though that might go against what the story's about? :B
I getcha! I'll have faith in us both. :D
