Alright story time!
Derik is probably the side-est side-character to ever appear in one of my storys, as his only purpose is to serve as Guide in one single chapter. At least until recently, as I gave him an -almost- protagonist-role in a new story arc I'm working on.
This one takes place roughly 10 years after his first appearance, maybe even a few more. He basically teams up with the _real_ Protagonist to end a war between Humans and Ragash'en, a freaking bloody massacre on both sides that came to be basically because the new Highpriest hates humans a lot.
