Yep. It's ironic that the NQ I is a wolf-like character like him above (Lupe: http://www.neopets.com/petinfo.phtml?type=Lupe&r=158 ), but II focuses more on being a beginner like how you drew Lupus to become a fearsome, heroic fighter in the game and rounding up a formidable party as he grows.
(The main character here is a kangaroo-like Neopet named Rohane the Blumaroo [normal pet info: http://www.neopets.com/petinfo.phtml?type=Blumaroo&r=723 ]. Though the actual story is the characters being in this setting, but really, are locked in their pods in their rocket ship and have to pass the Medeval-type game to open their doors before their ship gets destroyed by being too close to a star.
