For most of the strip I used made-up brand names. And then in this strip I use the real brand and machine name (well, technically it was an ALR Revolution 6x6, I think). I have no idea.
The text in the second panel is a fair description of how they got a CPU (the Pentium Pro) which only supported four-way SMP into a six-way configuration. Those were major machines in their day.
