This is a composition I’ve been wanting to try out for a long time, and I feel pretty damn good about myself right now. :D

I also experimented a bit with preparing the line art for coloring. I bought myself a 5.5x8.5 sketchbook recently, and this went in it yesterday. After I scanned it in and messed with the dimensions a little bit, I realized that it was literally 1/4 of 11x17. I felt that when I get prints made of it, they should be that size, but making reproductions bigger than the original isn't always a good idea. Well, I fired up Adobe Illustrator to make the line art vector, that way I could scale it up without it getting all pixelated, then brought it back into GIMP. Then I just colored/shaded it as I usually do. And there you have it! :)
