Hey all, so this is my sketch for my very first conbook submission - for BLFC!
I would love it if a second, or third, etc. pair of eyes could help me out? Since the pose/angle is a bit different from what I'm used to drawing, I was wondering if the anatomy/perspective etc. look right to other people. Thanks in advance!
I'm also going to make the left side of "BLFC" bigger so it fills in that negative space better.
Also, I have to e-mail the staff and ask if the bloody bat is against the no-violence restriction. So that may have to be removed unfortunately D: Depends on how strict that rule is.

I'm no art crittic, but here's my take. This looks pretty good to me. And again I don't know the lingo, so bear with me. I'm not sure what type of style you would call this with the "lineart" or character lines being more jagged, but as jagged as they are in this style, you did good with him. He's still very clearly defined in the sketch. Hope that makes scence. If I had to really pick this over, the only thing my eyes catch (and not easily) is that maybe HIS right knee and boot are just a tad too big? A tad. Not much. But that's only after really looking this over with my eyes and nothing I see at first glance. Hope you get into the con book. That shouldn't be a problem for you.
I'm going for an exaggerated style so I exaggerated the perspective on that right leg quite a bit. I did have the same thought though, so it's a totally reasonable critique! I was thinking that I might need to exaggerate some other part of him to make it consistent with that leg, like maybe make his snout bigger. I'll have to toy with that. Thanks for the input! :D
