I'm glad that I kinda reminded a bunch of people of the Pinkan Berries from the Orange Islands series in Pokémon. Kenny liked the concept the first time seeing Shiny all in that pink appearance, that he started not only drawing but also appreciating being drawn like it.
It's such an honor and a happy occasion to this day that Kenny likes Shiny so much and enjoys it to share his experiences in such a friendly manner. It always makes arts special for me when dudes and bros get to bond over such happy memories and just as much as that I love all the whimsical and adorable adventures of such heartwarming and kind characters.
It's of course to be thanked to the generosity by Pixel who often invited others to stand motif for his traditional artworks. I always appreciate such lovely drawings for how much care sticks inside the coloration, the linearts that are executed both in a striking and elegant way and present the characters in each scene with much heart. Pixel, you're awesome and Kenny, you are wonderful either. ^_^
Though let's go back to what I find so nicely presented here. On one side, the colors come out really well here. Well done with the choices of tones. Lovely pink and the rest gives a friendly vibe and good contrast still. You get a good feel of those two friends (who are basically like bros now) are enjoying a lovely summer at a Pinkan Berry farm, enjoying juicy treats while helping with the harvest.
Kenny especially looks so sweet and fluffy with the new color tone, which goes really well with his darker fur spots. His facial expression gives me the feel of that he's knowing whoever will look at the photo, they'll know that he's having a lot of fun rocking such jolly looks.
The Pinkandile next to him, that jolly lil bugger, seems to appreciate a nice berry himself. It's overall supercutely drawn, that berry, just like the two Pokémon afterall. I find it always very cuddly and sweet how such scenes with Shiny come together and the way he's drawn here gives me a lot of fluffybunny-feels. X///3 ❤️️
I was so free and edited the photo somewhat, centered the image and so the things shown outside of the artwork aren't showing any longer and, well: look. 💙
Let me say again, I find it supercute, SHiny and Kenny have adorable poses and expressions and I feel like this artwork could look supersweet in a frame. Not sure if you still have it or not, Pixel, but anyways, thanks again for the share of your talent so often.
