Doesn't matter the person. Everyone has their breaking point. I'm not talking about the extremes like suicide or self mutilation. I mean the subtle stuff. The things that lead to the more extreme stuff.
Over the days, months, and years things that happen build up. They keep piling and piling with no outlet until they eventually hit relatively unhealthy levels. Sometimes you can see it in the person in their actions and mannerisms. Sometimes you can't and won't know it until things hit that breaking point, where -- seemingly out of nowhere -- that previously happy person becomes a raging ball of hate; or a blubbering pile of tears.
PSA: This image is not a reflection of my current mood, nor is it an attempt to draw attention to myself with a "Woe is me" image. I've wanted to do an image like this for a while and it is my way of acknowledging these folk. Letting them know that there's someone out there that they can talk to and release that energy.
So please, don't note me asking if I'm OK, because I am, and I'll ignore it. :)
Wonderful image done for me by
sunkenshrines. Love his style and felt that it very much fit the darker theme of this image. You can bet that there will be more of his work in my gallery soon! :D
