Today i bought a lovely transparent box, perfect for my tiny birds..i'll probably buy more like this. I just love how they all look together ; ;

None of the birds were killed for the purpose of taxidermy. I found them dead and preserved their inspiring beauty to be used as reference for my drawings.

In case you are curious what birds are those: From left to right -> Tree Sparrow, House Sparrow, Eurasian Serin, Budgerigar, Common Chiffchaff, juvenile Blue Tit, European Robin, Nuthatch, Rosea Coppersmith Barbet , Common Redstart, European Kingfisher, Great Tit, Goldcrest and a tiny Garter Snake
