I love traditional painting, its so relaxing for me. But digital is a damn pain. Surprisingly, photoshop is much better for painting then sai, which many people consider more art friendly program. Photoshop gives you so much different way to customized your tools, the finished can almost look like traditional painting.

I'd say you should do more. This piece looks so amazing

For me Sai is alot more comfortable and I actually consider it more customizable than PS XD. It doesn't have as many brushes ( I still do use photoshop to do back grounds for my comic ) but within sai there are still loads of ways to mess with how each brush behaves. While I know ps has the ability to edit brushes too, I really can't tell you why sai is a lot more comfortable for me to use and play around in it with confidence but it might just be because the UI is simple and non threatening to me. But I could never do what I did with this picture in Photoshop, I'd rather jump out a window lol The program is so frustrating to me and just doesn't do what I want it to do when it comes to painting XD so I'd definitely say that it really depends on the person on which program is a better digital platform. For me though my grievances with painting has more to do with the fact that I'm just not very confident doing it and my process tends to flop around, it takes too long and Basically it's very hard for me to keep it consistent and I just threw my hands up in the air and and started focusing on other aspects of my art lol
