a key means the ablilty to unlock something. in my case, it is the key to my life, the key to happiness ect

Ahh, self explanatory for the key. It's good you get a tattoo that actually means something too you personally instead of the usual of purely looking good. It looking good should go with meaning something to the one having it imprinted on you.
