SO! Since this is the introduction to a new fursona, be prepared for a longish intro here, mmk?

This, finally, after at least 13 hours of work (I'm slow, ok? and I lost count somewhere in there....) is Niara. She is a Cheshire Cat/Dog. She's very spiritual, a bit mischevious, and rather crazy. Basically, me. :D She also likes rainbows, tea parties, and pictures with her in them. :p

As to the artwork itself, I'm rather proud. I love the feet. ^^ The only thing I was kinda annoyed by is that far arm. *glares* Ah well. I don't know if the shading is accurate, but it's there. Lots of layers on this beastie. Also, I wish I could show you guys the original - It's 2541 X 3226 and I put lots of detail work in it. You can see most of it on this FA sized picture, but the details really pop up close.

My favorite part though.. is the hair. It's also one of the reasons I feel even more connected to this fursona than I did my last. All of the colors used in Niara's hair were eyedroppered from a picture of me, when my hair was how I liked it best. TRUE TO LIFE, guys! Also, that necklace with Thurisaz on it is a necklace I am wearing right now, and hardly ever take off.

So, this is me, (after much consideration to the name) as Niara. This will be the official ref sheet from now til.. well, whenever it ceases to be. XD
