My little town in Animal Crossing New Leaf. I have been playing for almost two years, come April 13th it will be officially two years.
It's nothing grand, it's nothing spectacular, but it's my town.
In the top right I have Coco:

The first villager I met in this game, the first villager I helped when she got sick, and the first villager I got a picture of.
Southwest from her house if Pierce:

He was a random move in that I squeed when I got~
On the far west I have Tom:

Beside him is Cole:

I had never seen him online before, but the moment I saw him as a camper I fell in love with him~
Under those two I have Pecan:

She was one of the ones my town started with, and I really like her~
In the middle of my town is Broffina:

Doesn't seem to be a well liked villager, but I really like her as she's been there from the start. =3

I could not believe my eyes when I saw HER in my camp ground. I knew that I had to have her no matter what. At first I just got her because of her being so well known, but she has really grown on me. =3

This looks like it'd be a wonderful town to visit, just really liking the arrangement of flora and selective use of it.
As opposed to my town which is simply brimming with every kind of flower hybrid, you've kept to just the blue and purple roses.
That you keep the Jacob's Ladders at cliff edge but also spread them out between purple and white violets is really nice.
Well, did you know that there exist tools for editing ACNL save games?
Someone creative enough could possibly modify the tools to display town maps using pixelart just like this, and I think that would look awesome.

For the flowers I spent a few multi hour sessions gathering up all of my flowers and aranging them in ways that looked pleasing. A year of beautiful ordinece left me with a LOT of randomly placed flowers so I decided to do something about it.
And Jacob's Ladders just seem more fitting along the cliff to me, I couldn't put them randomly in places of my town.
I see, that'd be pretty neat. =P

Yeah, since the beautiful ordinance will allow flowers to grow by chance without the need to water, also just because NPCs will randomly water things themselves.
Jacob's Ladders do just look better at cliffs, but they maybe can look alright in front of a house.

That'd require drawing every possible art asset though. Since Villager Houses are all pre-fab from different kinds of parts in different colors and textures though, you'd have to generate the individual parts.

Yeah, when it rains, you don't need to water anything. :P
The trouble with rain is that it can hamper your hybridisation efforts. When you want hybrids you only water the flowers you want to breed, anything else that gets watered reduces your odds.
That means on a good day you can get maybe 4-5 hybrids.
So they are, same roof and door, but different wall and fencing.
