Lil' somethin' I made fer dinner fer me an m'roomie awhile back... Slight variation of the usual surf & turf since it's most commonly done with beef steaks... instead I present it done with a pork steak!
The pork steak was lightly floured an seasoned with lemon & pepper seasonings then fried in a large skillet on a thin layer of vegetable oil (or use prefered cookin' oil) until a nice golden brown.
The shrimp were flash-fried in a small skillet with a bit'a vegetable oil, a tbsp. of butter and garlic & herb seasonings.
...an the broccoli must not have liked it cause it was steamed! *dodges thrown vegetables* Whole thing took less'n 30mins. top ta make an ya gotcherself a nice dinner ta 'wolf down'... so if ya wanna try this S&T variation I hope ya like it as much as we did :)

Peel the stem at the base of the broccoli flowers so that it will cook in an uniform way. I dunk them first into boiling water, count to ten, drain them and then stir fry them on High for a minute with a dash of salt and a pinch of sugar. To finish I go Paula Deen (not that way) and add a dab of butter for the finishing touch. Stir a couple of times and serve.
You can add some Red/Yellow bell pepper cut into sticks at the moment you stir fry the broccoli for some additional colour.
