Did you know that inchworms are one of the few carnivorous caterpillar species? Those front legs are quite good at grabbing prey and holding it tight while the inchworm eats them alive. They move into position on the stalk of a plant, pose as a broken off bit on the plant, and wait for their prey to come to them.
To clarify, Hawaiian Inchworms are the carnivores.
