Instant Fave! K'jartan's right. I used to work at a silkscreen printing shop back in the early 1980s, and there were fifty gallon barrels of chemicals in the storage yard. One day I noticed something odd about the place and discovered every barrel was gone. The boss would only reply, "We got rid of it."
The shop had been in operation for more than 10 years when I was there, and I should have mentioned there were only three or four barrels. Not that much really, but still the stuff was pretty nasty. The cleaner solvent was a "Base" for insecticide and volatile, but a lot safer than Methyl Ethyl Ketone. I read someplace that the best way they had at that time to get rid of the stuff was to simply burn the solvent and sludge someplace... far away.
