It took me a while to realize this was the bat girl- not Batgirl, but the girl who is a bat- despite my usually fairly good observational skills. That must make for a very interesting style of swordsmanship, not being able to do anything that might shred that membrane. All the same, the sullen feel of the piece pierces through, much like the bat's black blade.
