Perhaps we could roleplay it? I don't think I have the will power to see it all the way through in the traditional way, I know this as I have about half a dozen half way stories. Also your parts are things that I can work with and that I like reading, if your stories are anything to go by your skills would have improved since or last go.
I can think of a few ways to do this. 1. We're both growing moths, probably siblings 2. A person that took in the moth not knowing it would get huge. 3. Something else the growing by light gene was put in, probably a fruit fly as that is the species those genetics has been known the longest and its easily for a scienctist to have lots of them, anything else that wasn't (initialy) sentient could also work. 4. A mother moth and its child catterpillar, which since both its parents have the growing gene will grow faster than them.
