I drew this a couple weeks ago too, before I got the tablet, but forgot to upload it... This one has a dumb genesis- I liked how ":3" looked in Miranda IM's default font, so I printscreened it and rotated it and then made this XD

Entertainingly, I do not listen to very much techno. XD Most of what I listen to these days, as put by another friend, "could grow on trees". Though I do have a massive soft spot for synthesizers of all kinds, and if anything has a sawtooth-style lead in it, I am ALL over it... and I have a veritable cronk of hardcore (both happy and non) and synthpop that I still dig up from time to time. I have no idea why my tastes have shifted, though... These days I prefer super acoustic upbeat stuff with ~secret synthesizers~ and highly treble vocals (like -early- Of Montreal, New Pornographers, the Apples in Stereo and most Elephant 6 acts' stuff), or really thick gritty heavy stuff, like Rasputina's rockier albums or Cheeseburger's self titled.
WHY AM I TELLING YOU THIS AAA

Lol that's fine.
My taste in music is all over the place. I recently got a who crapload of music my friend gave me (since we have similar taste in music) and even though I haven't listened through all of it, there's a lot there that I do like. Most of the stuff I have is either classic rock (ranging from stuff like the Beatles, to Queen, to artists like Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen). But I'm also in love with industrial music that incorporates noise music into it. I love the type of stuff that is done by Skinny Puppy and (to a certain extent, this artist/band... I'm not sure... sounds similar to Skinny Puppy, but is slightly more musical) Pig. And Hynoskull takes the noise music aspect and brings it to an even greater extent. Some of their stuff is mostly random percussion music.
I'm also a bit of a sucker for metal too. :/
Admittedly, I'm not that much of a music expert, but I love listening to a variety of stuff here and there.
