Oh my do i love the gems~ I drew one before myself but it only had one on the forehead~ was also a fluff dragon actually, but nothing as ornate~

They are so adorable~ fluffy dragons or fluffy anythings are so cute~, adding precious gemstones to them though just makes them even more interesting~ they truly are a fascinating design~

I guess I never really thought about it that way. I do try to be like him, but sometimes it falls a bit flat. I'll keep trying though <3

Well that makes sense, your trying to be an idea of you, when we make characters we make them a bit one dimensional, "this is who they are, they are strong and kind" but we stop there, when in reality we are all so very complex, more then what we let people see or believe about us. "This is who they are, they are strong and kind, they are also vulnerable and misunderstood. They want attention and affection but they are also too afraid to ask for it" Some thing like that is more of what we are as people, we aren't characters, no matter how much we wish we were~
It's why I try to make my fursona as much like me as possible~ I just want to use her to better who I already am, not be some one completely different.

I have noticed that all of my characters are versions of myself in some way. I always seem to put a bit of myself into the character, but if you put them all together, you find they're all very diverse. I've seen that in others too.

But that's actually a really good idea for your fursona! I feel like more people need to do that as well

I find that rather cute actually, I think of my sona as the version of my soul that I am not afraid to show people, whether split upon many like yours or singular like my own, it still serves the same purpose, which is to express our self. :3
More people should, but everyone does in their own way, just as you or I.
We are all complex diverse beings that just want to be read as a book and have our emotions as pictures on the wall for people to see, that's why i love art so much, It just allows us to do it so well~

Art is such an amazing medium for emotion and expression, and that's probably why I seem to use it as my escape so much. I know it doesn't look like I draw much with how little is on my page, but my sketchbooks are FILLED with sketches that allow me to just release my emotions onto the page.

It really is such a stress reliever and a great way to release anxiety.

I feel the same way honestly, but I can only ever draw when I'm really stressed, so usually only in the mood when I'm at work, and when I'm home I'm usually asleep~
So i just have a bunch of printer paper on my floor with nothing but terrible sketches~ But it really does help me a lot as well!
