Flowery Underdoodles
Flowey is my spirit flower. And one of my top favorite characters in the videogame. Wonder if Flowey actually has the lovely scent of a flower too, haha. Maybe that's why Frisk looks so happy on the bottom right.
The other day I found out that, when you walk the opposite direction of where you're supposed to go in the game, you sometimes catch Flowey grin diabolically and disappear in that direction, if only for a split second. He follows you everywhere, watching everything with great delight. Man, I experience new things every time I play this game. Gets an award for "2D game that made me gasp the most often".
When I made my first Undertale fanarts, I thought it was too bad they didn't give Sans more skeleton details, like a jaw bone and a second row of teeth, because I love skeleton details. Meanwhile I came to realize, it's okay, because Sans looks terrifyingly cool with just that single row of teeth too. It only depends on how you draw it. Maybe these skeletons don't/didn't belong to humans anyway, so the anatomy may even be correct as it is. It's all a mystery and I love it.

I try to keep the personalities and traits of the characters when I draw them. Flowey has that fun mix of being an adorable flower with diabolic wishes and fantasties behind that face, and the ability to change faces into many things. He's so much fun to draw for being less limited than... characters with just one face? xD

Now that you mention sans possibly not being a human skeleton, that reminds me of the game theorists video on him. If you haven't seen that yet, I'd really recommand it. It's such a great show about shamelessly overanalyzing video games :) ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYdDUXyFocY )

Oh man, if Sans turned out to be Ness, I'd hate Undertale for directly ripping of another videogame. :I I mean isn't it kinda sort direct copyright insult things? I don't mind similarities. For example Link and Navi are based on Peter Pan and Tinkerbell, living in a town where kids never become adults, but it's not a direct rip-off on the big story picture at least.
Everything else which he explained I had already realized, though. Like that Sans must have been on the surface, but so has been the turtle monster in the shop, as he was old enough to live through the war. And since Toby mentioned that Sans is the older brother, it would make sense that Sans knows more about things than Papyprus.
WHAT BUGGED ME IN THIS VIDEO WAS THAT SCREENSHOT WITH ASRIEL WATCHING THE SUNSET ALONG WITH THE OTHER MONSTERS. DID I MISS SOMETHING? I seriously tried to take him along. Also talked to him next to that flower field where you start the game, after the barrier is destroyed. He gives you interesting background informations about Chara, but he doesn't follow you out. :C He stands there forever.

I just found it to be a really interesting and fascinating theory,and some very well made observations. However, I really think all there is to it is Toby Fox paying homage to one of his biggest inspirations and messing with everyone while doing so ;p All he does is drop some vague hints for people to jump at, and having seen his way of designing games, building up expectations just to have everything go the other way is exactly what he would do. So really, it's just a theory, and I doubt it will ever be more than that.
And that Screenshot with Asriel, I realized that as well. I have absolutely no yarned idea about how to make that happen. Isn't Asriel supposed to turn back into a flower and stuff? I am not sure whether it is even possible within the game, or whether that was just some prank using a manipulated image, or maybe beta-footage or something?

That thing you said about Toby is probably what's most likely going to happen. xD Toby seems excellent at making you feel like you know enough to know, but then a surprise happens.
THERE'S RUMORS EVERYWHERE IT MAKES ME CRAZY, haha! Part of the reason I avoid fan-theories is that I could get led to a wrong direction than what the creator intended.
I still believe gaster is more linked to the skelebros than, well, Ness. xD

That's a pretty complicated question you're touching upon there. Is it really wrong to get to different conclusions than the author intended for? I personally love hearing fan theories, just because I find speculation to be really fun :)
And yeah, everyones favourite, semi-non-existant entity, W.D. Gaster :) It is kind of weird how there literally just 3 or 4 extremely vague hints at him within the game, but the fabase has already "created" this character and is assuming so much about him. Tehehe, if we ever gonna get any more official info about that character, I guess it's gonna contradict so much that fans had already accepted as canon in their minds x3
