Shenanigans with
Nefari and
LittleFangs (who is as adorable IRL as her character looks online by the way <3 <3 <3) at Vancoufur on the Friday night.
Rave seems to have been trying on a couple different bodies here ;D That's
Brushfire's body on the left and mine in the middle... and I was so impressed with how comfy that head was to wear - not to mention the fact that
LittleFangs was able to drink in suit, how did I not know this was a thing??! - that I've finally been convinced that I'm gonna have to get a fursuit of my own one of these days :D
Anyway, we had a blast hanging with you guys and I hope we see y'all again next year! <3

Drinking in suit without needing long large straws has been around for a few years, depending on the muzzle shape of course. Shorter muzzles are much easier to do this in, obviously. I'm still going the facial prosthetics route, as the lowered hearing and especially significantly reduced sight of a big hrad won't work well with my glasses. Perhaps a very light, closely-shaped head structure would work great for you, what with the smaller body frame and all.
And NOW you look like a fox. *grin*

I can totally see myself buying a nice metal drinking straw and attached it to a chain around my neck or something if that's what was needed to drink in suit... make it part of the costume, hehe XD As for the glasses, those would be a problem if you can't wear contacts (I can't, but I can see well enough to stumble around without for a while lol)... at least cat faces don't have much in the way of snouts, so maybe you could still wear your glasses over your feline face if you got one!
Not over the face - I have to wear multifocal lenses, and they have to be precisely positioned or everything is very fuzzy (and I get a headache). I can go around without glasses at all, avoiding people easily as they're clear shapes in space just with all details blurred, but I can't judge distance of things on the floor as easily and stumble, nor can I recognise anyone unless they have a distinctive facial/head hair or voice. So, it's prosthetics or nothing for me.
Your drinking straw as part of the costume idea is really good!

Hahaha, I didn't see this but I wouldn't be surprised. Its an older head and
Nefari was demonstrating how much abuse it can take.
