I don't advocate replacing "s" with "z" but what the hell I'm lazy. The De Tomaso Pantera and the Shelby GT350 both have a Ford 351 V8.

Yet the De Tomaso hits 60 in 5.5 seconds. Not bad for 1971 and only a tick slower then the Ferrari Daytona

Funny you say that. My friend drives a '32 Ford with a Chevy engine. I always make fun of him for it but his dad build the car and prefers Chevy engines.

each his own taste i say, though there isnt much fun making about when own a 32 ford (deuce), cool as heck cars. but like with most custom cars,there is always a touch thats not to everyone's liking, otherwise everyone drives the same thing

It´s funny I never heard of "De Tomasso" until 2 or 3 months ago...plus its a really funny name...at least to me, that Im spanish :P

Well I'm Italian American, together we make up De Tomaso. But if you watch Kill bill they have 2 of them in it. Plus they look nice, and it's 1970's American Muscle with Italian Flair.

I drive a Ford, unfortunately it's a 2.3L 4-cyl, still fun 'cause it's got a 5 speed tranny.
I'm not really partial to Ford or Chevy, as long as it's American.
