Your anatomy work on the facial structure is actually *really* good. The lower jaw looks a little uncanny valley, but everything from the nose on up is well lined up and proportioned. Especially impressive is that you ran the median line between his right eye and right ear accurately. A lot of artists misalign that one. The vertical offset of the eyes is slight but accurate to human anatomy (most people have one eye about 1mm higher/lower than the other, it helps in three-dimensional vision).
All in all, if this is a failed piece, you're still awfully damn close to a great and well executed piece. :)
