This is a giant necromancer staff i made a day ago. Had a lot of fun making it!
It lights up, glows, does all these cool strobe and fade effects with all sorts of different colors. I attached the LED beneath the ball and put the battery pack on the side of the pole itself.
...i need a better camera =/

I'd be super interested in how you made this! The little lightning bolt patterns on the bottom of the globe in particular are beautiful!
I'm getting into vacuum forming thermoform plastics myself to make props for a local fur studio, but I'm trying to learn as much as possible about everything. Any sort of tips or advice on making awesome stuff like this would be appreciated!

Never use a permanent glue unless you absolutely need to.
Tape is your best friend for holding things in place and seeing how it looks before you permanently glue something to it.
If you're working with paper/cardboard, try to make copies of your cut out or at least have a single cut out to use as measurement for the rest of the cut outs, otherwise, you'll be doing it all by estimation and they'll all come out looking kinda off and messed up.
Make sure the paint you use isn't going to eat into what you're painting it on. I learned this the hard way when I tried to spray paint a foam globe with a sealant gloss paint... it turned it into swiss cheese =/
Measure twice, cut once.
always look online to see if the product and materials you need are cheaper. Amazon and ebay can save you a LOT. You just gotta wait for it to come in the mail. :P
