:D I managed to stalk some of the deer that take the shortcut through my front yard to reach a cut that they like to graze in.
Here is the buck of the local herd upon realizing that I had been snapping photos of them. ^^ He is a buck--it's winter though so his antlers have dropped off leaving only skull bumps where the new ones with grow over the spring and summer. The rest of this herd is a little family of only four members (though the younger buck is absent a lot--methinks he's off courting a girl X3), this buck's two adult doe mates and a large fawn from last year (no spots anymore!). They typically merge into larger herds at some times in the year, so there can be as many as thirty deer skirting around the birdfeeders (and helping themselves to the seeds fallen on the ground X3) and crossing the creek to the good grazing areas.
