He isn't a girl dammit! That was a mixup by the voice actor who simply said Fawkes was a girl, not knowing what he was talking about.

From the Fallout Wiki: Contrary to a comment about Fawkes' gender made by his voice actor, lead designer Emil Pagliarulo has confirmed "No, Fawkes was absolutely a male. This was a mistake. Wes gave an interview and he was mistaken. Trust me, Fawkes is and was male."

Ah. Well at least that clears up the confusion about his gender. And..I'm gonna check out that article now.

They are, but Fawk's gender BEFORE his transformation is what we are talking about.

In the vault you find him in, you discover

1) Supermutation makes mutants androgynous.

2) The ORIGINAL occupant who was unwillingly supermutated there was female.

Fawkes is not the original occupant of that cell, however.

havin just finished fallout 3....this is awesome! I wanna see more of these!

Personally, I never use the support characters, especially Fawkes who has a tendency of moving directly in front of my shot in a VATS volley X3

You want a stupid support character? Look at Dogmeat. That thing will attack anything, everything, and nothing. He'll stay behind to fight those enemies you're ignoring for a purpose, and then suddenly, you see the happy smile saying Dogmeat died....AGAIN.

...I hate that dog.

I played the entire game without a support character.

I found Dogmeat, though, but took it back to my Megaton house and just told it to stay there. I had it as a house pet! X3

I did that, but after the Trouble on the Homefront mission I went back to Megaton and he'd vanished! I went to Vault 101 to see if he'd turned up there, but he's just gone! And I know I didn't take him out anywhere! XD Man, he musta hated my bad karma.

Fawkes was returned to the Museum of American History.

I'll probably never own a piece of equipment that can run Fallout 3, but I still love this. (I have been playing Fallout 2 lately though!)

Well, perhaps someday you will acquire a 360 or PS3, then you can play it without having to upgrade your PC rig ^_^ Tho I haven't played Fallout 2 yet! ^^;

Fallout 2 is a classic...technically, being that the original and Fallout 2 are isometric strategy rpg thingies, Fallout 3 isn't exactly a pure sequel, being that it suddenly changes the series' mechanics. Not that I think it's a bad game (on the contrary!), but for the 'pure' Fallout feel, you gotta try 1 or 2.

I'll probably do a playthrough of Fallout 2 on my YouTube account, after I beat the game once...the game doesn't allow for a new game +, but there's a way to hack a powered-up character into a new game, so...

I hate it when people upload oversized pictures that don't need to be that big. I always try to resize my picture so that it fits comfortably in a computer screen before uploading.

It is nice that you are considerate to keep it within such dimensions ^_^ Its not so much that I would like to utilize the width, but more of the height. This proves extremely helpful when creating certain comics, because I would rather have the user scroll down, then scroll to the right if the scenario is rather text heavy. Things begin to look cluttered in my eyes @_@

No yeah, that'd be good for that. sometimes people upload comics and it ends up making them way too small and I can never understand whats going on. :P

Fawkes and Sergeant RL-3 are a regular killing/looting party.
They are easily the hardest hitting pair, and have the most and the second most weight carrying capacity in the game.

I didn't play FL3 and all this still makes sense to me. Very funny, Psy.. And you stuck with that little Fallout guy's style as well :D <3
