Not really, i was trying for a dramatic picture with a wide view of the scenary. But I hated how the far off background looked so i cropped it. Really the picture should have been closer to the char, and you should have been looking past him/her to the horizon... but, for some reason these are things i forget or am incapable of realizing on my canvas. So yah.

As for a story. Well i guess the wanderer decided to stop and reflect.

Well IMO I think it's cool. ^^ You did a good job on this IMO. Gotta remember that aritsts are their own worst enemies. They can do a peice like you did right here and think it's shit. I wish I could draw as good as you, cause if I could draw like this. I wouldn't think of it as bad art. So what if you couldn't get a dramtic picture with this one. You'll get it next time with the next pic and then you could use that knowledge or what you did with that pic and put it to use with this one and get this one the way you wanted it. ^^

-nods- Cool. Art is in it's own way a story that's written into words. We all depict in in our own way. Like I agree with you that he stopped to reflect, cause of his facial expression. Where as another person can see this and think that the dragon/other is just sitting there to take a rest as he/she's been walking a long ways. ^^ Just keep up the good work. ok?

hehe i know. I rather enjoy my art even if im not as good as some other artist. Im well aware that all i need is practice, and to figure out who to do it and ill be able to do a lot better. Im not really worried about that. I just know that right now this picture isnt very good, thus why its practice.

And as for the second paragraph.... My, someone went to college. (hehe just messing.)

That's good that you enjoy your own work and you are at a good point with your art, but art is something that keeps improving with pratice and time, if you don't give up on it. Well it's good that it's a practice. Hope that you come back to this one day and make it the way you wanted it to be. ^^

Nice. You may however want to do a shaded gradient as well since that looks 1 color?

I didnt make it as obvious, i tried to keep it so it still looked like shadow. However, in the end it just made it look like one solid shadow. I dont think im gonna keep shading that way.

The highlighting gradient looks good. Maybe add some more colors in there for a smoother transition.
Though yeah, if gradient shading wont show up just go back to good ol brushing :D

Also, is the follow up pic going to have cawk or a dildo? *Waits for a face palm*

Oh no, the gradient is actually backwards. Its solid along the line the shadow starts, and fades out as it gets closer to the edge of the body. Its a little hard to see. Its most obvious on the telephone pole on the left side. Its supposed to add a nice effect, like an odd form of cellshading.

that's good for a doodle, but as you said before, i as well need to do more backgrounds and more art, i feel i can do alot more and better, i just need the knowledge and help, keep up the good work, its been a while since you last posted ^^

Thanks. Yah ive been gone for a while and now im trying to catch back up. Ive been debating on whether i should catch up on all my requests, or if i should just start from scratch. The good thing is that i never took money from anyone so i dont have anyone mad at me, but im sure people will be upset if i decide to just leave them in the past and start from scratch.

i think its best to try and get there requests done, but also its your choice if you want to Finnish them or not, you can always ask politely to them on how busy you are and im sure they can understand, but its up to you really. ^^ keep up the good work, i hope showtime i can get a commission done from you or a trade^_-

I think i owed you some art anyways. I thin i will add you to the list of pictures i need to draw. I do plan to go back and work on these old requests.... but not just yet for many reasons.

It's good, but things are a bit too... bulbous. The road looks a but like mercury. It needs less shine and harder shadows, I assume.

I dont know how to do textures correctly. The road is a flat surface... well sort of, that should have a bunch of cracks and debri on it. I need to learn how to do proper textures so i can keep my linework simple, but still make the image looked detailed.

I found Fallout 3 to be a good game.

I love the way you have the pants made for tails, and the way the tail is connected with the body, rather than the usual pin-on tail I seem to see everywhere.
