A back alley behind some low income housing. The non-profit that owns these 100 year old low income units has been tearing them down block by block and building new ones. So I've been taking every opportunity to photograph them before they're gone. The next block up has already been razed and new homes being built. This block is completely vacant and I assume is the next one to be rebuilt.
Was really sad to see these go, especially since the new ones don't fit in well with the older buildings that make up most of Little Italy. Right across the road are some of the best Italian restaurants in the city.
