I was tagged to do the OC Fact meme for both Niki and Ellie, so of course I had to draw them together. So here we go!
Niki
1. Niki is a brown fur seal spirit who, with the help of a spectral jellyfish named Myrek, guide lost animals back to shore and safety.
2. She speaks with an Australian accent and would be the equivalent of a 15 year old.
3. She lives in the ocean rather than on land, and not having to fear predators or drowning, she can dive all the way to abyss.
4. She is the only one who can speak with Myrek.
5. She wears armor like that of a sea turtle which is composed of silica but feels and looks just like bone.
6. She has smacked more than one shark in the face with her tail while rescuing other animals.
7. She is very adventurous and is quite happy to have become a spirit. She is unlike most other seals in the fact that she always lusted to swim far from shore.
8. She and Myrek were killed at the same time, which is why they were resurrected together. Their souls are not bound and they could each go their separate ways, but they prefer to team up to do good and go on super rad adventures.
Ellie
1. She is entirely composed of magic and does not excrete, bleed or age.
2. She does not require food to survive, only the happiness of others, but she does enjoy eating candy and will often hoard it.
3. She has and will never harm another creature willingly. She has accidentally (rather harmlessly) bitten people before when she got too rowdy and she goes into grieving when that happens.
4. She constantly has the smell of lemonade.
5. The lemon wedge on her tail can be removed and is often replaced when she comes across a particularly good smelling lemon. As long as it is on her tail, it stays fresh and succulent.
6. Her favorite animals are seals, much to the chagrin of actual seals. She often imitates them and can balance a ball on her snout.
7. She is lemon sized
8. Her sparkles are what she uses to flavor water and when immersed in water, she essentially becomes a bath bomb.
