The first piece in a short story I'm thinking of doing.
It might even be my senior project, I'm not sure yet.
The story that these four are based off of is Once on this Island, a musical adaptation of the original legend of The Littler Mermaid [very different than the Disney version] and I'm thinking of doing my own take on the legend, having it lean more towards Once on this Island than the Little Mermaid. But we will see what happens.
So, from left to right, we have Augwe, God of water. Then Erzulie, "Beautiful goddess of love!", Pape Ge "Sly demon of death" and Asaka, mother of the Earth.
It's a heartbreaking story, and the music of Once on this Island is fantastic.
So, this is my adaptation of the Gods =] And look out for my take on it... it may or may not go anywhere. We'll see.
