An awesome art trade piece with my friend the amazing  Wyldsyde of my pulp novel-inspired superhero oc Doc Valiant, a character that's apart of the world of Angel Falls on DeviantArt.

Think of him as the result of combining Golden Age Superman, Captain America, and the iconic pulp hero Doc Savage. With a dash of Indiana Jones. Just that like Supes and Cap, he's quite long-lived so he's still in good fighting shape well into our modern/contemporary times.

As can be expected with such characters, the "Herculean Superscientist" has been just about everywhere in the history of Angel Falls. Battling giant Nazi deathbots, fellow supersoldier projects, Eldritch Abominations, vicious cults, interdimensional fiends, and the occasional paranormal incident. So this scenario dearest Wyld has placed Valiant in is more or less 'Just Another Tuesday' at times for the Big Man.

Though there are still times where even he is struck speechless, like the time he met an anthropomorphic inflatable talking duck with a drinking problem, a huggably cute Anteater kaiju, and the realization of the existence of a Pony version of himself in the multiverse.


It really kicks ass to have a drawing by Wyld of a character I created instead of co-opted (*cough*Godzilla*cough*). This pic looks like it'd be perfect for a book cover or graphic novel trade paperback.

Now I just gotta get to work on my end of the trade.
