I don't mind the long delay xD
And I could just reinforce some of my last comments?
I am pretty much aware that this is a comic you've done for yourself... but...
It is extremely easy for me (and I hope to most of the others) to directly ... FEEL connected/impersonate with Kael because ... I swear lots of kids loving TLK at that point dreamed of this...
And I can really feel a ... vibe? Entering their den... knowing there is Nala sleeping, slowly approaching, asking permission to Simba... his half-amused expression... and TOUCHING her. A lioness, a so powerful creature... she wake up, startle you but in a playful way...
It is really coming back to childhood xD

To be fair so far this is a most insightful and honest feedback I received on this so far and I appreciate it a lot :)
I don't mind people identifying with Kael, even though it is me. Because you are right, many of us had similar dreams and I knew it. It's sad though that through most of my life I was shunned for them, as all tlk fans I knew invented their own lion sonas, while I preferred to be myself. It was so much more important for me to accept myself as I am, rather than reinvent myself for the sake of a fantasy. Most people I knew hated that and it was one of the main reason why it took me so many years to open up with this comic.

I feel the same way about it, and there is probably nothing that could ever change that. Since I was a kid, Nala has been the most charming, beautiful, kind and sexy thing on four legs to me. The sexy bit came a bit later, after the movie, but that's what happens when you grow up with this. That universe is part of me now, and while the Meo character only exists to live out the kinky side, I appreciate everything as innocent as this! Even if that changes, at some point, not sure where all this is going. But I like the innocence. It makes it feel more real.
Well, the comic is there. It was drawn when I was 15... I'm just redoing the pages. It takes me a while, I know. Mainly because of other projects and this not being my top priority... but I do enjoy it, it does have a sentimental value for me and I'm sure I'll be coming back to it. In fact, feedback I got on this page charged my batteries a little and I think it won't be long before new page is redone.
May I just say, I am loving this comic. Well done, great match to The Lion King's art style, and a good story so far. i can really relate to the characters, and it appears your human here has been to the pridelands before, I assume when Simba and Nala were cubs, since that would have been when the pridelands were safe to roam and they would have been as propserous as they are now that Simba is grown up. Is there a prequel comic to this? Because I would love to hear/see more about this story.
Hi!
Thanks for the comment, I'm really glad you enjoyed this comic. Although it was meant as a personal recollection of my childhood nostalgia, I'm very happy so many people find it relatable. :) There is many more pages, but those are from the time when I was much younger. I'm redrawing them to match my current skill and make them more appealing to the public ^^
