A long while ago I decided to redo an old art trade I made with Plavigmaz, because the old one was an ugly piece of crap.
That picture was a perfect example of what happens when you force a style. Sure, it worked much better on the previous one, but that was the picture I came up with the style for.

This one has a much 'healthier' look. Sure, her armour barely resembles the original, but that wasn't the point.

As for the background, well, the picture gave me a lot of trouble as the character looked the best on a plain white background, which is really weird, considering she's supposed to be in the darkness. At first, she had that overused coloured rectangle behind her, but it just looked way too lazy. So, I decided to waste the whole afternoon with experimenting different backgrounds.

This is what I got. Wait ... how do I perspective? :B
