I guess I never posted the updates here (more on tumblr and deviantart)

This is as far as I got and for now I left it to stew. The uv is laid out. I will probably add a tail eventually, but otherwise I don't know if there's more with the model I can do. There's so much I can do with paint weights so the muscles overlap properly.

The main reason I left it alone is because I cannot find for the life of me how to rig the chest and hips so they can be animated separately. As of now if I move the root bone/hip, the entire model moves. And I can't find any tutorials on it online : (
