Coffee/gold commission for Arrowheart! Her little tanuki dude Otto with some magical golden lotuses ^_^ She came up with the brilliant idea, I just executed it!
It's funny how the texture of the paper often works out in all the right spots; for instance there just happened to be some dark splotches in areas that needed darker shading. I also think the splotches to the left look like they belong, as well as the random textures on the right! Argh I just love it when it turns out like that ^__^
