Good question lol. I never truly draw him too much but here are a few:

He's just a grumpy, 52 years old wuffy, too tired of war. Closed in himself and mostly appears to be depressed,but very warm to others. [ he's a medic after all x3]

Excellent! These will do just fine. So much character, I like it. But curious of how he got the rat tail tho? Like does it have a story behind it, or is it because you like rat tails? xD But overall, I'll give a shout when I am done~! :3

He started as a rat-wulf hybrid, more on the rat part.

But overall, Friedrich is a human character. He was based off of the TF2 medic, and transformed into his own being when I started role-playing him in the TF2 universe and community.
I RPed him for about 3-5 years on and off and he developed into quite the spikey lil being. He has a very 'colorful' history [on the bad side] that made him who he is today. Overall? He was a German field medic that got mixed up with the wrong man, and forced into working in concentration camps. I actually started writing his entire history day in and day out as a hard copy notebook but never got to finish it.

To sum it up? He started as an orphan, turned into a soldier for simply survival means, then went into medicing out of his choice, left for dead, captured, accused of being a deserter, imprisoned, tortured and forced to help some seriously twisted people @ ww2 camps. And then ran away as soon as the fatherland was captured. All this left quite the mark on him, and I froze his existence at Tf2, around 1972. At the end of his very long service in the TF Industries, he ended up dead.

His furry self started somewhere around the same year, while his human elf [and the main story] took a turn into the supernatural [beyond the tf2]. On other words, he's a retired vampire now. Sort of completely retired. He's left alone, his story has ended, he's "married" or rather, coupled with the one who turned him, and lives very happily outside of the human domain [sort of speaking].

As for the rat? It suited him. Dirty, surviving, very poorly shaped. He survived the worst life could throw at him, and still managed to do some good, despite all the crap he got himself into and that still haunts him. He was an outcast, rejected by his own people and the world, so I guess the way regular folk see rats suited the idea of him. And this he was a rat. Something and someone we have little to no sympathy for.

But that's the short of it x3.

Whoa, that is indeed a lot of character behind him. And that was just the short of it. I'll eventually do the same for my girl. One day, I will! (When I am not lazy, anyways. Heh.) But poor Friedrich, my emotional emotions can't it D':

Yeah. He is a very rough character, with an insanely heavy emotional and traumatic load that was my task to handle and RP through him haha.
It was great fun while it lasted.

But doesn't everyone do that to their beloved characters? It makes them more unique, the more character they have. The more others will love them for it.
That's what I love reading about too. It's like reading a chapter in a book, and you just wanna know more.
